Introduction of user-based rate limiting
While we strive to grant as much flexibility as possible with our APIs and unlimited user access, we also need to ensure the user experience remains consistent and is fairly distributed throughout workspaces. Therefore, we have introduced a general user-based rate limit, including our single-page application. For each user, whether it is a human user or a technical API user, the limit will be 1800 requests per minute. When exceeded, our services will return a 429 status code.

Decommissioning support for Contacts in Surveys
Contacts are individuals listed as Fact Sheet subscribers without LeanIX accounts or workspace invitations. Due to the low adoption of the feature, creating surveys with contacts as recipients will no longer be possible beginning tomorrow, November 1, 2023. From January 1, 2024, we will discontinue our support for all survey links previously sent out to contacts.

Survey Safety Net preventing mass notifications
To prevent mass notifications for Surveys based on Fact Sheet filters, a 'Safety Net' has been implemented to notify admins of significant changes and prevent messages until approved by the survey creator or admin users.

Updated layout of email notifications for more focus
To-Do notifications are often targeted to users who occasionally log into LeanIX. Therefore, a first iteration of improvements to the To-Do notifications makes the content easier to grasp, allowing more focus on the given task through an updated email body structure, the original To-Do title in the email header, and a more prominent call to action.
