The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs have been fixed in the past week:

Inventory

  • We’ve resolved an issue that prevented fact sheets from loading when scrolling fast through the unfiltered list of fact sheets in the inventory.

Diagrams

  • When a fact sheet shape template has been configured, altering how shapes in diagrams look that are linked to the inventory (e.g., to ArchiMate shapes), but the appearance of existing fact sheet subtypes in the meta model has not been configured, the shape design of the main fact sheet type is automatically applied to the subtype as a fallback. The default SAP LeanIX design (fact sheet color in the inventory) is applied if the main fact sheet type also has no configuration.

Reference Catalog

  • When importing business capability fact sheets from the reference catalog or linking existing fact sheets to them, the landscape view of business capabilities can now be toggled to show the suggested SAP solutions per business capability. The view provides a holistic map that streamlines identifying capabilities and solutions relevant to your organization. The new view is only visible if the optional feature 'Suggested SAP Solutions' has not been disabled by an admin in your workspace.

Administration

  • Building on the recently released user permissions for features beyond the meta model, admins can now permit member users or custom user roles access to the SaaS and SAP landscape discovery inboxes to manage the creation of facts sheets from discovered applications. To grant the permission, head to the 'User Roles and Permissions' section in the admin area.

Transformations

  • When configuring a transformation template in a workspace with SAP LeanIX Architecture and Road Map Planning, admins can now define dependencies between the fields on the transformation template by predefining the scope of available fact sheets. This brings the custom transformation templates closer to the same functional level as our pre-defined templates.

Dependencies configured in the template will be applied to all transformations created from the template, with the effect of attributes on the transformation staying disabled until a selection in the dependent field has been made.

This enables use cases like removing an application from the part of your organization it's already rolled out to, selecting an IT component used by an application to be replaced by a new one, or replacing a data object transferred by an interface.
