Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary
The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:
Reports
We fixed an issue in landscape and matrix reports where clicking on fact sheets or clusters showed only subscriber information, and a second click caused an error and froze the page. The report side panel now opens as expected with full fact sheet details.
Diagrams
We’ve resolved inconsistencies and improved label behavior for collapsed relations in free draw diagrams. This now more closely matches the label management experience in data flow diagrams. These improvements include the following:
Labels now appear on collapsed relations.
Interface labels can be deselected.
Multiple-label selection is supported for interfaces.
Collapsed and custom labels are now included when you click Check for updates.
Transformations
In the transformation tab of the fact sheets, we’ve made several improvements to make managing and executing transformations easier and more transparent:
A new “Transformation Type” column to indicate the type of each transformation.
All transformation items of all types are now listed by default. Previously, only one type was shown, and users had to switch via the filter dropdown.
The transformation type filter now displays the number of items in each category, so you can quickly see how many transformations exist per type.
Checkboxes for selection provide a clearer way to choose items to execute (no need to hold down keys).
A “Select All” button to quickly select all rows in the table.
A new “Executed By” column shows who executed each transformation item. This column has also been added to the transformation explorer.
Reference catalog
As previously announced, we removed the option to sync vendor lifecycle fields from the reference catalog into internal lifecycle fields on fact sheets, following the separation of these fields on IT components. This configuration option was available on the "IT Component" tab within the admin area's "Reference Catalog" section for a 6-month transition period, giving you time to prepare for changes. Now that the transition period has ended, this option is no longer available.
