The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:

      Support

      • Are you missing the former "Support" button at the bottom right of your workspace? As announced, you can now access the support widget from the top navigation. With this changed position, initiating a support request remains available anytime, and no workspace content is obstructed.

The interactions after clicking the support button are the same for workspaces with contracts on former LeanIX terms. Later in August, a new SAP built-in support interface will be visible in workspaces with contracts on SAP terms. The built-in support benefits include contextual help information, direct access to a knowledge search, recommended links, and creating a support ticket without entering the SAP for ME portal. We'll inform you before it will be available in your workspace and introduce it in a live webinar planned for September.

      Inventory

      • We fixed a bug in the inventory table view that displayed incorrect fact sheet type icons for requires/required by relations, and we updated the relation dropdown to display all valid fact sheet types.

      Dashboard

      • We’ve enhanced permissions for KPIs on the architecture executive dashboard. The availability of specific KPIs for non-admin roles depends on their permissions for the fact sheet fields involved in KPI calculations. To view a KPI on the dashboard, users with non-admin roles need at least read permission for all fact sheet fields involved in a KPI calculation. If read permission is missing for one or more fields, the KPI becomes unavailable for selection.

      Diagrams

      • You can now hide the update badges on diagrams when in view mode. This is useful if you want to present historical data or legacy architecture without distraction. Learn more in Updates from the Inventory.

      • We’ve fixed a bug that caused Lucidchart diagrams to display incorrectly in the dashboard panel. Now, Lucidchart diagrams are displayed as expected when you add them to the dashboard panel.

      Calculations

      • As previously announced, successful calculation runs for each fact sheet no longer appear in the calculations' audit log. Only failed calculation executions now appear on the "Error Log" tab, which has been renamed accordingly. You can monitor the status and last run time for each calculation on the calculations overview page. Data changes on fact sheets triggered by calculations remain visible in the individual fact sheet’s "Last update" tab.

      Surveys

      • Based on user feedback, we'll make survey notifications more readable by changing them from a comma-separated list of fact sheets covered in the survey to a bullet list. This change will be released on August 20, 2025.

      Discoveries

      • When using self-built software discovery, you can now benefit from increased transparency in the tech stack discovery process. The new "Tech Stack Discovery" section in the administration area provides an overview of tech stacks from the reference catalog and their corresponding fact sheets. The status ("Discovered" or "Not Discovered") shows whether a matching tech stack from the reference catalog is found for an ingested SBOM component. You can also view the matching rules for each item, which adds more transparency to the process.

      • When using the GitHub Enterprise integration, you can now start a synchronization run manually. This may be needed in situations when GitHub data in SAP LeanIX appears outdated, the webhook delivery failed or was disabled, or repositories were added or changed outside regular sync mechanisms.

      • Two new details help to track and manage discovered SaaS applications better when the discovered item is no longer found in the source system:

        • Last seen date – Shows the last time the SaaS application was detected in the source system.

        • Item status in source – Indicates the application's current status (Active: Seen in the last week; Inactive: Not seen in the last week; Deleted: No longer exists in the source system (available for select integrations).

      Meta Model

      • You can now configure subscription-based permissions for the subscription field. This enables you to add an extra layer of access control, allowing only certain subscription types to add or remove subscribers to fact sheets.

      • We fixed a bug where, if a custom attribute’s key included a standard attribute’s key as part of it, and both were mandatory attributes, filling only the custom attribute would wrongly mark both as completed. The mandatory attributes list in the fact sheet side panel now correctly shows which fields are actually filled.

      Integrations

      • As previously announced, we’ve updated the GraphQL error handling behavior for batch mutations. Learn more about what’s changed in the documentation.
