Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary
The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:
Inventory
We fixed a bug in the inventory table view that caused fact sheets with the same name to display incorrect fact sheet type icons, and another one that caused fact sheet icon colors to be incorrectly shown in saved search results.
The side panel in various workspace areas now also displays the subscription role, along with the subscriber’s name and type. This makes it easier to identify the right person or owner to contact.
Collections
As previously announced, collections have moved out of the administration area. Users with the appropriate permissions can create, manage, and import best-practice collections in the “Manage collections“ overlay, accessible from the left panel in dashboards, reports, and diagrams.
Calculations
Starting Monday, July 28, successful calculation runs per fact sheet will no longer be visible in the calculations' audit log. This change will help admins focus on identifying and resolving potential errors more efficiently by reducing the volume of routine entries.
You will still be able to monitor the status and last run time for each calculation on the calculations overview page. Data changes on fact sheets triggered by calculations will remain visible in the individual fact sheet’s "last update" tab. Looking ahead, we plan to add an indicator to the calculations overview within the next two weeks to alert admins whenever an error has occurred, making it easier to know when a review of the audit log is necessary.
