Upcoming usability update for the fact sheet details page
On Tuesday, November 19, we’ll enhance the visual structure of the fact sheet details page, making it easier for you to navigate, search, and manage related data. These updates will reduce page length and streamline access to related information, ensuring a smoother and more intuitive user experience.
This is what users can expect to become available:
Relations and fields on relations are shown in a table, requiring less space
Possibility to jump from a relation to see it with full context in the relations explorer
When scrolling, a new drop-down will appear at the top of the page to navigate to any section on the fact sheet. Each section title will include an anchor for linkage from outside of SAP LeanIX.
In an earlier version of this announcement, shared in the November outlook and admin newsletter, the anchor links to sections were planned to be available in the drop-down. We moved them next to each section title to ensure consistency with how anchor links are typically used.
A search for all fields and relations on the top of the page
When a subsection holds many relations, they can be searched
Instead of a small pop-up, the related fact sheets and their attributes will be previewed on the side panel, which is new to the fact sheet details pane but known from reports and diagrams
The meta model configuration allows you to define if relations are grouped by subtypes or not
