Here's the outlook for November 2024:

Usability update of the fact sheet details page

Coming November 19: We’re enhancing the visual structure of the fact sheet details page, making it easier for you to navigate, search, and manage related data. These updates will reduce page length and streamline access to related information, ensuring a smoother and more intuitive user experience.

This is what users can expect to become available:

      1. Relations and fields on relations are shown in a table, requiring less space

      2. Possibility to jump from a relation to see it with full context in the relations explorer

      3. When scrolling, a new drop-down on the top of the page appears to navigate to any section on the fact sheet, including anchors for linkage from outside of SAP LeanIX

      4. A search for all fields and relations on the top of the page

      5. When a subsection holds many relations, they can be searched

      6. Instead of a small pop-up, the related fact sheets and their attributes will be previewed on the side panel, which is new to the fact sheet details pane but known from reports and diagrams

      7. The meta model configuration allows you to define if relations are grouped by subtypes or not

Focus on the relevant discovered SaaS in your inbox

When you manage SaaS discovery inboxes with hundreds or more items in them, we learned that you must be supported in understanding which SaaS is relevant and essential to your organization.

Therefore, we'll introduce automated prioritization in the SaaS discovery inbox in November. Criteria will be used to assign high, medium, and low priority levels for SaaS applications, highlighting where users' attention is needed first. Priority levels will be assigned based on criteria ratings, such as the number of applications in the same product category or the average business criticality and functional fit assessment of an application.

      Auto-discover your SAP on-premise applications

Although initially intended for October, we're extending the SAP landscape discovery feature to include on-premise applications in the coming weeks. This will allow you to seamlessly discover cloud and on-premise solutions through a single integration with SAP Cloud ALM.

Through the same integration as for the cloud, you'll be able to discover your on-premise solutions. Admins can set up the automated 'SAP Landscape Discovery' service in the admin area's 'Integrations' section to populate workspaces with data about SAP cloud and on-premise systems together. The scope of already configured cloud discoveries will automatically be extended to on-prem.

Accelerating the discovery and exploration phases for transformations, fact sheets created from the discovery inbox will be in line with our SAP modeling best practices.
