Here's the outlook for July 2025:
Create more flexible automations with additional triggers and conditions
Reacting to many requests to extend the automations and serve more use cases, we'll gradually introduce additional triggers and conditions until the end of July. The extended capabilities will include reacting to changes to the values in string, integer, double, and lifecycle fields.
Next to the already existing trigger when the lifecycle status of a fact sheet changes (e.g., from active to phase out), you will be able to start an automation if the specific date of a lifecycle field has been changed. Enhanced conditional logic to support more flexible automated flows, such as comparing the current lifecycle phase as part of a condition, will follow later in Q3 2025.

Gain cost transparency across your application portfolio
We’re adding structured application TCO tracking to your workspace, covering licensing, support, and maintenance costs. View cost breakdowns by unit or capability, and monitor TCO evolution directly in the executive dashboard.
As a first step, we've made the presentation of numeric data in landscape, matrix, and roadmap reports more flexible and intuitive through adaptive grouping, range-based labels with currency, and improved differentiation of default colors.
Next month, this will be completed with:
A meta model extension for the application fact sheet to capture licensing, maintenance, and support costs in a consistent and structured way.
Automatic aggregation of the above inputs into an application's TCO using preconfigured calculations that can be adapted to reflect your organization's cost model.
Enhanced landscape report settings to allocate selected costs by clusters (e.g., per business capability or organizational unit), helping identify high-cost areas.
Cost evolution KPIs in the architecture executive dashboard to give IT and business leaders a real-time view of total IT spending, savings progress, and investment alignment across the portfolio.
Together, these capabilities provide the visibility and control needed to connect architecture decisions with financial outcomes, empowering teams to reduce costs and accelerate innovation and transformation.

Compare the content of different diagram versions
It is challenging to visually identify the disparities between two versions of a diagram edited by various users. Helping you spot the changes and assess their significance, we aim to add a comparison of diagram versions by the end of July.
A side-by-side view with highlighted differences, combined with an additional text-based summary similar to a changelog, will offer instantaneous insights into what has changed in a diagram over time.
