Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary
Change announcement
Starting October 26, 2026, the comment count bubble will no longer appear in the inventory list view. This is part of an ongoing effort to reduce visual overload in the inventory list and make room for what matters most. Your comments are not affected. They remain fully accessible from each fact sheet's detail view, and comments remain queryable via the GraphQL API. No action is required.
Automations
When someone leaves your workspace, their fact sheet subscriptions no longer need manual cleanup. Until now, automations have only responded to fact sheet events, so user lifecycle changes, such as archiving, have required manual admin follow-up. A new user status change trigger, available in the automation builder alongside the existing fact sheet triggers, activates when a user is invited, activated, or archived, and an optional condition lets you narrow it to a specific transition. A script can then automatically reassign subscriptions to a designated owner, and an email action can notify the affected user or an admin, covering offboarding confirmations, onboarding welcomes, or any other status-driven communication.
Enterprise Architecture Assistant
We have made one improvement and fixed one issue in the Enterprise Architecture Assistant:
You can now adjust the width of the chat panel, making it easier to work through AI suggestions while keeping your fact sheets visible at the same time.
Fields configured as read-only by workspace admins are now consistently enforced by the assistant when it applies changes. Previously, write restrictions on read-only fields were not always correctly enforced.
Meta model configuration
We made two fixes in the meta model configuration:
Label translations in the meta model configuration for fact sheet items, such as fields, relations, or sub-sections, now save correctly. A frontend issue was sending label values in the wrong format, which caused saves to fail for all fact sheet types.
The "Realizes Data Object" relation on data product fact sheets has been corrected from 1:n to n:m, matching its documented behavior. The fix has been applied automatically to all workspaces with the data product extension installed.
User and access management
We fixed a bug in which user accounts archived on or before July 1st, 2026, were not deleted on September 29th, as originally announced. We deployed the fix on October 6, 2026, and a correction job is now running across all workspaces to process the affected user accounts. All impacted user accounts will be deleted by October 27, 2026. No action is required. User accounts archived after July 1st are not affected.
