Weekly feature improvement & bugfix summary
The following feature improvements have been implemented in the past week:
Discoveries
Users with access to the SaaS discovery inbox can switch off the auto-linking of discovered items. While active, all discovered items are automatically linked to application fact sheets when the name of the discovery exactly matches a fact sheet name or when the item is mapped to a reference catalog item by SAP LeanIX, and a fact sheet in your workspace is linked to the same catalog item. After reactivating this setting in the future, previously discovered items will not automatically be linked; only newly discovered items will be linked. By default, the automatic linking is enabled when a discovery integration is configured.
In the SaaS discovery inbox, the 'Details' tab shows information retrieved from the configured discovery integration (Microsoft MDCA or Entra ID, Netscope, Okta, Zscaler). As each source provides different data, we've restructured the displayed content into two sections. The 'General Details' section shows data available with all integrations, and a second section, with the title of the specific integration, lists the reduced number of fields actually available with it.
We started an early adopter phase with users who shared an interest in having their SaaS discovery inbox sorted by a priority store calculated based on the number of applications in the same category, average business criticality, and functional fit ratings. This prioritization helps focus on the most critical and relevant discovered items in your inbox, especially when dealing with large data volumes. If you still want to join before general availability, leave your workspace name in a feedback note on the roadmap item, and we'll contact you.
Reference Catalog
To make the list view of reference business capabilities during import from the catalog more consistent with the landscape view, it now also features the side panel when selecting an item and shows descriptions, the linking icon, and if the business capability already exists in the workspace.
The catalog's business capabilities filters have been extended to include an option for business processes. In process-oriented organizations, this option supports users who are less experienced with business capabilities. The listed process variants are independent of process fact sheets in the inventory, specific to the selected industry, and grouped into eight end-to-end processes of the reference architecture. Users of SAP Signavio benefit from a direct link to see the related process diagram in the SAP Signavio Process Explorer.
Accessibility
When the browser zoom is raised to up to 200%, all items in the main navigation bar remain completely visible.
The configuration of the SAP Signavio integration now fully supports screen readers and keyboard accessibility.
Integrations
In the API explorer documentation of the
/graphql
endpoint, the example request body was corrected by removing the request wrapper.
