Weekly feature improvement & bugfix summary
The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the last week:
Inventory:
A bug in editing single-select fields in the table view has been fixed. Users will now see the correct icons representing field values after searching for them with a sequence of characters.
Following industry standards, we have adjusted the cost field label to show 'CHF' for Swiss Franks.
Reports:
The side panel of reports can show the list of fact sheets that are not included due to missing data. If the list exceeds 20 entries, it's automatically paginated, which has a positive impact on the report's loading time.
Diagrams:
The drill-down feature has been enhanced to preserve the style of ArchiMate, other custom shapes, and images when applied, collapsed, expanded, or the color-coded view (e.g., lifecycle) is changed.
When a 'Drill-down by filter' is changed to include different fact sheets and a drill-down has been performed previously. The prior drill-down is preserved on those fact sheets that still match the changed filter.
In data flow diagrams, the arrow to expand interface relations is now available also when the corresponding fact sheets have been created after the diagram was saved. It's visible immediately without the need for any interaction.
Presentations:
Changing permissions of saved reports or diagrams or deleting them after they have been added to a presentation no longer causes an error message when viewing the presentation. Instead, a guiding explanation is given.
Integrations:
A new
scheduling
object has been introduced in the configuration for integration API processors. It replaces the formerautomaticDailyExecution
inexecutionGroups
and can be used to trigger the processor to run automatically on a nightly schedule between 2 and 6 AM, depending on the workspace's hosting region timezone.Any configuration that used the
automaticDailyExecution
object has been migrated to now use the newscheduling
objects andautomaticDailyExecution
was removed from the processor configurations.
Transformation:
In workspaces with Architecture and Road Map Planning (formerly BTM), users receive guidance on planning transformations to implement suggested solutions. The guidance includes the following three steps. After completing them, an initiative fact sheet with the required transformations is automatically created.
Create the initiative: Automatically set up the initiative fact sheet that contains the necessary transformations to implement the suggestion. Users can adjust the pre-populated name, define the fact sheet subtype, link it to a parent that may already exist, and add further affected business capabilities.
Plan milestones: To visualize transformation timelines on reports, there must be a target date. At this point, users can set the estimated dates for milestones and refine them at a later point in time.
Select Applications: Choose which of the suggested solution options will be implemented. If no existing application fact sheet in the workspace matches the suggestion, a new one is created automatically.
