Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary

    TABLE OF CONTENTS:

      Inventory

      • Third-party systems can now link directly to a filtered inventory view using the external ID stored on a fact sheet, without first looking up the fact sheet's unique identifier (UUID) via the API.

      • We fixed three bugs in the inventory: related fact sheet links in the inventory table view now open the correct fact sheet; clearing the "active until" date on a fact sheet relation while setting "active from" no longer triggers a false validation error; and mandatory subscriptions now appear correctly when opening a direct link to create a new fact sheet of a type that has mandatory subscriptions configured.

      Reports

Two previously announced report changes are now live. See the June 12 announcement for full details.

      • Landscape and matrix reports now always render m:n when using specific relations for the fact sheet type "Business Context" and its subtype "Process", regardless of whether the SAP Signavio integration is active.

      • The world map report is no longer available for users accessing from China or workspaces with a Chinese billing address, in compliance with local regulations. The report page remains accessible but displays a notice instead of the map.

      Diagrams

Without leaving the diagram, you can now edit fact sheet fields in the diagram sidepane while in view mode, the same way you can in reports. Your defined user roles and permissions apply. After saving, the diagram automatically checks for updates.

In workspaces with SAP Architecture and Road Map Planning, we made two improvements to target architecture diagrams:

      • When in edit mode on the changes view, clicking the blue overlay icon now shows only the impacted relations, not all relations, so you can focus on what has actually changed.

      • Tag changes in transformations now propagate into the target view of the diagram, so fact sheets reflect their post-change tag values.

      KPIs

We fixed two bugs with regard to KPIs:

      • On the architecture executive dashboard, drill-down panels no longer overlap when multiple views are active.

      • We removed the KPI entry from the user roles and permissions section of the admin area to align with the current product functionality. The ability to create and manage KPIs is reserved only for users with the admin role.

      Discovery and integrations

      • Organizations that require certificate-based authentication for Microsoft Entra ID can now use it for SaaS discovery and AI agent discovery, including MCP server discovery via the Microsoft Azure API Center.

      • The configuration page for the SAP Signavio integration is now easier to navigate: settings are reorganized into dedicated tabs, replacing the previous single Basic tab. No changes to the integration functionality.

      • Finding the right application in the reference catalog is now more accurate. Search now recognizes common abbreviations (for example, “MS Teams” resolves to Microsoft Teams), matches against alternative and deprecated product names, and ranks product lines above specific versions in line with EA best practices.

      Enterprise Architecture Assistant

We fixed an issue where the Enterprise Architecture Assistant incorrectly told users they could upload files directly to the chat. Documents need to be uploaded into a dedicated area in the administration section of your workspace.

      Transformations

In workspaces with SAP LeanIX Architecture and Road Map Planning, there are two updates to transformations:

      • Past relation visibility in transformations: The first wave of the announced change went live on June 30. For workspaces with no existing transformations, relations within transformations now retain a validity period rather than being silently removed. Workspaces with existing transformations will be updated on September 30, 2026.

      • You now see all relevant fact sheet columns immediately when viewing a specific transformation type in the transformations explorer, without having to enable them manually. You can still hide them using column visibility settings.

      Export

We fixed a bug that caused subscription types and roles to appear multiple times in the ReadMe worksheet for full snapshot and archive exports.

      Translations

On July 2, we released the next batch of German translations. We welcome your feedback and will continue to use it to improve translation quality.
