      Inventory

We fixed a bug where attempting to remove a fact sheet subscription for an approved fact sheet on the user details page failed with an unclear error when enforced subscription roles were enabled, and reassignment was not possible. You now see a clear explanation of why the subscription cannot be removed.

      Diagrams

To compare two versions of a diagram, you previously needed to hover over a version, open the three-dot menu in the Version History panel, and select the versions you wanted to compare. We have now added a Compare Changes button, giving you even easier access to version comparison. The button appears next to the Edit and View Latest Version controls.

      Architecture guidance

We fixed a bug where opening the detail view of an architecture insight automatically set its status to “In Progress”. Viewing the details of a recommendation no longer changes its status. To move a recommendation to “In Progress”, a user action needs to be conducted.

      Custom reports

Custom reports let technically skilled users build tailored visualizations for their workspace that go beyond the built-in report types. To support this capability with a modern, maintainable toolchain, we have published updated CLI tools under the @sap/create-leanix-custom-report npm package in the SAP namespace.

The updated toolchain replaces the previous JavaScript-based tools with a modern TypeScript and React setup built on Vite, bringing type safety, faster builds, and hot module replacement during development. See the reporting framework and CLI on the SAP Help Portal for a full overview, including how to set up your project and deploy reports to your workspace.

If you are currently using the previous tools, we recommend migrating to the new tools to take advantage of the improvements described above. The old package remains available on npm but will be marked as deprecated.

      Self-built software discovery

Manually cataloging services, tech stacks, and teams across large GitHub organizations is time-consuming, and for many organizations, cloud-hosted AI discovery has been off the table due to compliance or data residency requirements. For workspaces with SAP LeanIX Technology Risk and Compliance, a new open source CLI tool addresses this: the self-built software agent runs entirely within your own infrastructure and uses AI to automatically discover services, dependencies, tech stacks, and programming languages across your GitHub organization, without requiring any changes to your repositories. Results sync directly to your workspace as fact sheets. The tool supports multiple LLM providers, including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and SAP AI Core. You can also find it in your workspace in the Integrations section of the admin area. See the SAP Help Portal for details.
