Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary
The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:
Inventory
The fact sheet side panel is now available to admin users in the inventory AI prompt. Clicking on a fact sheet’s name opens the side panel, providing a preview of key information from the fact sheet. This enables you to quickly access relevant details without leaving your current view.
Diagram
Changes to the data flow direction of interface fact sheets in the inventory are now considered for automatic updates in the diagram. When you modify the data flow direction in the inventory, the changes are included in the update notifications for relevant diagrams. You can select and apply the updates to reflect them automatically, eliminating the need to manually redraw connectors.
Integrations
We’ve released version 1.2.11 of the Confluence app for the integration with Atlassian Confluence. This update adds support for 9.X versions of Confluence Data Center. For more details, see the version history.
Discoveries
When provisioning a workspace with self-built software discovery capabilities, admin users are now prompted to confirm their action in a confirmation step. This step helps prevent unintentional changes, as a result cannot be reverted with a single action once a workspace is provisioned with additional fact sheet attributes.
In the inboxes of SaaS discovery or SAP landscape discovery, users can better distinguish between suggested new fact sheets, so-called prospective fact sheets, and fact sheets already existing in the workspace. Consistent with recommendations in the reference catalog, existing fact sheets have a fully colored fact sheet type icon, and the prospective fact sheets have a white background. With that, it's easier for users to understand if they will create a new fact sheet or link a discovery item to an existing one.
Translations
We've started an initiative to improve the quality and consistency of our English user interface. This will not only create a unified user experience in English but also set a profound foundation for translations into additional languages.
Changes that have been started and will be continued in the next few weeks include:Consistent use of title case capitalization for headings, labels, buttons, etc.
Fewer capitalized terms such as 'fact sheet', 'report', 'inventory', and fact sheet names like 'application' or 'IT component' within sentences
Referring to the complete name of SAP LeanIX
Fixed typos and consistent US spelling
Reduced usage of '&' in favor of 'and'
