Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary
The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:
Inventory
If a workspace admin has removed a predefined fact sheet subtype in the meta model configuration, it was not possible for users to create a fact sheet via the catalog recommendation functionality in the fact sheet creation form when the recommended fact sheet belonged to the removed subtype. A fix allows you to create fact sheets from recommendations even if the suggested subtype doesn’t exist in your meta model. Assign a custom subtype or any other subtype during creation, and retain essential details prefilled from the reference catalog.
In the inventory’s table view, you can now use a calendar date picker for custom date fields, ensuring accurate input and preventing invalid formats.
Reports, Diagrams, Dashboard
The maximum length for titles of reports, diagrams, and dashboards has been increased from 70 to 255 characters and is now consistent across all editing areas. This provides you with greater flexibility when naming them. However, please note that the title will still be limited to the first 70 characters in saved searches in the inventory.
Reference Catalog
The business capability content in the reference catalog has been updated. With 'Aerospace and Defense', the catalog features an entirely new industry. Noteworthy are editorial changes in the names of eight business capabilities (e.g., 'Customer Invoice Management' is now 'Customer Billing and Invoice Management'). The descriptions of several business capabilities and the suggested SAP solutions have also been updated.
Based on your feedback, we've renamed business capabilities that included the '/' sign, which is typically used in SAP LeanIX to represent hierarchies. As this is not the case in the names of the business capabilities, we've replaced them with 'and' or '-'. For example, the level 1 business capability 'R&D / Engineering' is now 'R&D and Engineering'. This change applies to a total of 29 business capabilities. As a result, the affected capabilities and their children will no longer appear as 'In Workspace' colored in blue during the import from the catalog. You can still identify those imported to your workspace via the linking icon. You can manually adjust the fact sheet's name to match the catalog item if you want to see them as' In Workspace' in blue.
Store
A new architecture transformation map report is available on the SAP LeanIX Store.
Integrations
The integration with ServiceNow is now certified for the latest Yokohama release. Existing integration setups don't require any actions; this is solely a proof of compatibility.
