Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary
Change announcement
We will remove some placeholders for fact sheets in the help text that describes attributes before Friday, October 24, 2025, for consistency and to resolve translation dependencies in languages in which articles depend on the gender of the fact sheet name and the case.
For example, the help text on application fact sheets regarding the relation to business capabilities will change from "Which business capabilities are supported by this application?" to "Which business capabilities are supported by this?".
As a result, the variable {{fact_sheet}} will be used in fewer default translations in the meta model configuration. Some descriptions remain as is, such as for the data flow direction field on the interface fact sheet saying "Incoming data flow from {{fact sheet}} consumer to {{fact sheet}} provider," so we continue to support custom naming of fact sheet types.
The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:
Inventory
Previously, when you filtered fact sheets by hierarchy level, you could select only one level, and all other levels were hidden from the options. With this update, you always see all possible hierarchy levels in the filter options. This enables you to filter fact sheets by more than one hierarchy level.
Transformations
In the transformations list view and explorer, the transformation status is now represented by a status badge. Previously, an icon was used for statuses.
In the transformations table view, cells no longer appear in grey. In edit mode, this color coding indicates non-editable cells.
