Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary
The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:
Inventory
Creating a fact sheet on the fly while adding a relation was not working as intended, resulting in a lack of the fact sheet. We have fixed this issue.
In the inventory table view, cells for text area fields extend as expected when clicking "Expand All".
When any workspace view was applied, saved search filters changed erroneously after a browser refresh. We have fixed this bug, and saved search results now remain consistent as expected.
We have fixed an issue in fact sheets where scrolling did not work correctly for long subscription role lists. The “Set your role” dropdown is now fully scrollable as intended.
Diagrams
When comparing diagram versions, the style changes are now hidden by default if the diagrams have different views applied. This prevents the comparison from being cluttered with styling changes. You can uncheck “Hide styling changes” from the “Filter Changes” menu to visualize the styling changes.
Dashboards
We have made the following enhancements to the architecture executive dashboard KPIs:
Some KPI names have been refined to make them clearer and more business-friendly.
Executive KPIs now show ownership details, including subscriber type.
A new KPI, “Unsuitable Applications,” has been added.
We’ve improved data readability on the bar chart at the second drill-down level. The legend has been optimized to reduce the space it occupies. Chart colors have been adjusted to avoid repetition, making it easier to interpret the data.
Discoveries
For self-build software discovery, we've improved the helpfulness of the API errors of the SBOM ingestion to help you better understand root causes and improve their self-sufficiency in fixing.
Integrations
We have fixed an issue in the ServiceNow integration where a fact sheet subscriber was being removed from a ServiceNow record. Now, a sync correctly updates the record without unintentionally removing the subscriber, once the subscription mapping is set up.
[Edit: A previous version of this announcement included the following wrong content, which was not released and therefore removed afterward.
Previously, only subscription roles defined distinctly as either accountable, responsible, or observer could be added to the fact sheet creation form. This limitation is now fixed, and subscription roles set to 'All' will also appear in the fact sheet creation form when marked as a mandatory attribute.]
