The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:

      Diagrams

      • You can now navigate to and share a specific version of a diagram with its URL (https://<diagram URL>/version/<version number>). To do so, copy the URL from your browser address bar. This also ensures you stay at the same version when refreshing the browser page.

      Reports

      • A tooltip shows the value of the selected fact sheet in landscape and matrix reports according to the active view. Next to the color, this conveys information via text, improving accessibility for color-deficient and visually impaired users.

      • An issue with available report views not being visible at the end of the drop-down list when the browser view is zoomed out (e.g., to 80%) is resolved.

      Collections

      Transformations

      • In workspaces with SAP LeanIX Architecture and Road Map Planning, when planning transformations for suggested SAP solutions from level-2 business capabilities, you no longer need to manually return to the reference catalog to import missing level-3 capabilities.

Now, if you select transformation options tied to level-3 business capabilities that haven’t yet been imported or linked, you are prompted to bring them in. With one click, you can import the necessary capabilities and continue planning seamlessly and without interruption.

      • Admins can turn on or off whether the transformation impacts should be shown as scheduled changes next to impacted attributes in fact sheets. Activating the feature makes upcoming changes more visible to users, improving transparency and planning awareness.

      Automations, Calculations, Integrations

      • The formatting of text in string fields on fact sheets with markdown, which we released earlier this week, can impact your configured automations and calculations. The string comparison in both features is performed on the raw markdown syntax (e.g., *text* for bold text). Please remember this when you set up and maintain any automation or calculation that accesses data in text fields. Also, the responses of GraphQL API queries will return markdown syntax when users apply formatting to the text.

      Onboarding

      • We will release an update to the dashboard and guide "Onboarding: Application Portfolio Management for Enterprise Architects" on Monday, July 21, 2025, based on additional best practices we gathered. The following changes to the guide and the dashboard aim to help you realize fast value through a focus on what's most important:

        • Onboarding guidance now starts with applications, followed by business capabilities, and organizations.

        • Updated best practice metric thresholds to 20 applications for several application attributes (relation to business capabilities and organizations, lifecycle, responsible subscribers, business criticality, etc.) in line with our recommendation to focus on a small set of critical apps to start with for fast time-to-value.

        • A new metric for "Applications in Scope" based on the "In Scope" field that we recommend adding to the meta model configuration for applications. Add a new single-select field (key: scopeApp; label: Scope) with value keys "inScope" and "outOfScope" to the "Name & Description" section on the application fact sheet. Ensure that the settings "include in views" and "show in filters" are enabled when adding to the meta model.

        • Updated learning content in the linked academy courses per the above changes.

      Translations

      • Starting in the last week of July, we'll roll out revised German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese translations in batches over a few weeks. The changes will create consistency across various workspace areas, apply corrections, and cover currently untranslated text. Core terminology in prominent places that has not been translated by now (e.g., "Fact Sheet" in German) will remain as is.
