Weekly feature improvement and bugfix summary
The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the past week:
Inventory
We fixed bugs with the new enhanced fact sheet creation form, so:
that member users or users of custom roles with the correct permission can create fact sheets
when you apply a facet filter to a fact sheet type in the inventory, the selected type will automatically be preselected in the fact sheet creation form
the initial selection of a fact sheet subtype can be changed
when the 'Mulitple Subscriptions' mode is disabled for the workspace, assigning a user to multiple roles for the same subscription type is possible.
Advanced filtering involving fields on relations as criteria works as intended with no error messages when no fact sheets meet the filter criteria.
In the inventory table view, you can now save the value
0
when editing a number field on a relation. For users with multiple custom user roles, the permissions are aggregated correctly, meaning the highest permission takes precedence when filtering fact sheets. Thus, they can see all filtered fact sheets for which they have permission.
Reports
The export of roadmap reports as PDF files now works as expected, without a blank page at the beginning and without losing information at page breaks.
Diagrams
When you add 'Diagram Tags' to your diagrams, you can use them to filter fact sheets in view mode. Select the tag icon from the floating menu at the bottom and click the eye icon to hide or show the tagged fact sheets.
You can now customize which fact sheet data is listed in the diagram's side panel depending on your needs. When you click a fact sheet in a diagram, the panel shows specific fields and relations, and you can add or remove relevant ones by selecting 'Configure Content' at the top of the panel. This allows you to quickly access relevant details without leaving the diagram view.
When you roll up several fact sheets related to the same fact sheet, they now appear in the same container rather than in individual containers.
All fields on fact sheets of the type 'String' defined in the meta model configuration, along with 'External ID', are now available for use as labels in diagrams.
Discoveries
The 'Details' tab in the SaaS discovery inbox now shows these usage indications for applications discovered through Microsoft Entra ID, Zscaler, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA):
Successful sign-ins (past 30 days)
Failed sign-ins (past 30 days)
Success rate (past 30 days)
Admins need to enable the usage indication option when configuring the discovery integration to receive the information. Our partners Okta and Netskope currently don't make usage indications accessible to us. We've filed requests and plan to make the data available once it is supported.
