Upcoming redesign of the main navigation bar
On October 15, we will adopt the SAP branding by changing the pre-defined SAP LeanIX design in the main navigation from a primarily blue to a white color with fresh design elements.
This reshaping, which includes repositioning certain items in the submenus to clean them up, will become effective for all workspaces without configured custom branding. The positioning and distribution of the core navigation items will remain unchanged.
The following new design refinements result in a cleaner, less cluttered top bar:
White background with high contrast, larger icons, and clear fonts
A redesigned search input that aligns with SAP standards
Product updates will be available under a megaphone icon replacing the 'What's new' button
The '+ Invite' feature will be moved under the user menu on the far right
Information about SAP LeanIX, data privacy, and cookie policy will be relocated to the help menu.
Customized workspace designs will keep their color schemes and logos but receive updates such as a slightly increased navigation bar height and different fonts and icons. If you wish to switch a workspace back to the current blue design, your admins can choose the 'Classic' design after October 15.
Workspaces with the currently existing 'Classic' design, which uses the LeanIX legacy green color, will keep their design, too, but it will automatically be moved to a custom design with the same settings. The admins of such workspaces will also be informed about this change via email.
