Poll API deprecation: Transition to the new survey API

As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering a robust, high-performance platform, we have developed the new survey API to replace the poll API. This change brings significant performance improvements, a modern architecture, and a simplified API experience. The current version of the poll API is now deprecated, but will continue to run until the end of March 2027. It will be discontinued at the end of March 2027.

This change reflects our investment in:

• Improved performance — Response times are 30–50% faster across all endpoints

• Modern architecture — Better support for concurrent operations and scalability

• Simplified API contracts — Fewer required parameters and cleaner data structures

The core functionality within the UI is not changing: All survey capabilities you rely on remain fully available - this only affects manual calls of the API. Your existing integrations will continue to work during the transition period. However, we recommend migrating to the new survey API as soon as possible to take advantage of the improvements and ensure long-term compatibility.

What you need to do:

1. Review the migration guide, which contains detailed instructions on how to migrate, and lists code examples, endpoint changes, and breaking changes.

2. Update your integrations as soon as possible to take advantage of the benefits mentioned above, latest before the end of March 2027.

3. Test thoroughly — Run parallel tests against both endpoints during the transition period.
