New Committed Spend Report

To create an accurate and in-depth SaaS spend analysis and support the budget planning, we are introducing a Committed Spend Report that's based on the contracts added in SMP. Customers can find the report under the 'Renewals' tab of the workspace.

The Committed Spend Report is an interactive graph that provides a summary of cost commitments of all the added contracts to conduct a detailed spend analysis. The report can be filtered by:

1. Period (3 & 6 months, 1 year and, custom)

2. Departments

By hovering over the report, customers can view the details for the period such as:

1. Committed spend for the month

2. No. of contracts that will end

The committed spend report also provides two detailed overviews:

• Service Overview – This view includes all the services along with the information on the number of contracts, committed spend, total contract value, next renewal, and department

  

• Department Overview – This view includes information such as department, no. of services per department, no. of contracts, services with a contract, and committed spend per department

  

Customers can also use the Committed Spend Report to plan their budget by simulating a future scenario by adding a prospective contract.
