LeanIX app for Microsoft Teams replaces the notification app

The 'LeanIX Notifications' app, previously available on the Microsoft Teams Store, is being replaced with the new 'LeanIX' app for Teams. While this initial version of the new app only has the same notification capabilities as the previous one, we're introducing it to add functionality to query data from LeanIX workspaces through the app later this year.

Users of the previous notifications app will need to install the new app from the Microsoft Teams Store to retain notification functionality. The fastest way to install the LeanIX app is via this direct link or by selecting 'Apps' on the left side menu in your Teams and then searching for 'LeanIX'. You will find it in the 'Communication' category.

Independent of previous utilization, the Teams integration has to be activated for the workspace in the admin area's 'Integrations' section before users can receive messages on the new Teams app.

The legacy 'LeanIX Notification' app will only be available until the end of March 2024.
