Transformations are now available for every BTM workspace and can be activated in the admin area's 'Optional features and early access' section. Transformations enable users to define high-level changes in the IT landscape of their workspaces as groups of predefined and customized impacts.
Admins can manage transformations in either of the two Fact Sheet types: Transformation Items or Projects, depending on which Fact Sheet type is active in their workspace. Currently, users can choose between creating transformations from the predefined templates like "Implement a new application" and "Upgrade a technology" or select to customize the transformation option from scratch.
Transformations on Reports: The Landscape, Matrix, and Portfolio reports allow the selection of multiple items (Plans or Projects) as sources of transformations. Thus, changes in the workspace's IT Landscape coming from multiple initiatives can be visualized at the same time. The timeline will be generated based on the earliest start date and the latest end date (among the multiple selected items). If there are any milestones created, they will also be visible.
