Improved setup of Meta data synchronization for SAP Signavio Integration
The following improvements for the SAP Signavio integration have been released in the past month incrementally:
Instead of asking the user to enter technical IDs or names for various aspects of the synchronization, the new configuration UI offers convenient drop-downs or search capabilities that are based on readable names, e.g.,
For selecting Processes, Directories, or Glossary categories within SAP Signavio
Choosing a parent Fact Sheet within LeanIX
For the field mapping of processes, a new 'simple' mapping type has been introduced that enables admins to configure various mappings between the attributes of processes or related glossary items in SAP Signavio and fields, subscriptions, and tags on Fact Sheets in LeanIX by using drop-down instead of typing complex technical paths expressions.
A completely new UI for defining field mappings on Glossary items has been introduced that allows configuring various mappings between the attributes of glossary items in SAP Signavio and fields, subscriptions, and tags on Fact Sheets in LeanIX, very similar to what was already possible for processes. With this enhancement, glossary items mapped by the integration have been extended from only having a name and a description to having other attributes such as lifecycle, subscriptions, and tags.
The performance of the integration has been optimized by 50%, mostly using cache for repeated requests on the systems.
Sync logging usage has been improved to produce more understandable messages for non-technical users.
A custom time schedule can be selected for their synchronization runs.
Synchronization runs can be aborted using the Sync logging overview, which is useful for testing out new mapping configurations without running them to completion.
Please refer to the LeanIX user documentation for more details on the improvements of the integration.
