Import of reference business capabilities soon available for all user roles

From March 5, 2025, users of any role will be able to view the reference catalog's business capabilities. Those users in roles with permission to import fact sheets will be able to add new business capability fact sheets. The direct access from the inventory's side panel removes the current bottleneck for admin users to share the content of the reference architecture and import business capabilities based on decisions from business users.

Linking existing business capability fact sheets to catalog items will remain as is; only the title in the side panel will switch to 'Business Capabilities Linking', and a new 'Explore Business Capabilities' entry will be added.

Instead of the currently required initial selection of an industry, you can explore the reference content directly and filter business capabilities by industry, hierarchy level, enterprise domain, and other categories.

If admins want to make this business capability import from the reference catalog available only to specific user roles, this can already be set in the meta model configuration of business capability fact sheets.
