One of our European instances suffered an incident that led to the unavailability of about 30 minutes on Thursday last week (February 24, 2021). Analysis revealed that processing an Excel import with more than 1 million lines caused memory drainage resulting in users not being able to log in to their workspace.
To ensure such incidents won't happen again, we took measures of limiting the size of Excel imports to 10.000 Fact Sheets, more precisely the number of maximum rows being processed at a time. Separate Excel files can be used to import more data.
We didn't take this decision lightly, but we have to balance the flexibility of our API against stability.
