EAM weekly feature improvement & bugfix summary

The following feature improvements have been implemented, and bugs fixed in the last week:

Inventory:

  • Previously, when all changes done to a Fact Sheet occurred in parallel by multiple users, be it human users or technical users, led to a 'Resolving Fact Sheet conflict' pop-up - even when the changes done are not even conflicting at all. This problem became especially evident with the Automations feature as it works in parallel for users on a Fact Sheet (e.g. when a new FS is created and the Automation adds a subscription on creation - while the user starts filling out the first attributes). This error causes confusion and leads to loss of changes when the changes are resolved by the users. The conflict display has now been improved, and the error pop-up will be displayed only if there are actual conflicts.

  • A bug has been fixed in Meta Model Configuration that previously prevented moving external ID fields from the unused fields section into a different section.

  • When filtering Fact Sheets in the Inventory using full-text search, sorting the listed Fact Sheets automatically switches to a 'relevance' setting, where the Fact Sheets with the strongest match for the query are listed first.

Reports:

  • LeanIX changed the way filtering works in Landscape and Matrix reports. Users filtering for a related Fact Sheet or a field on a relation from now on no longer retrieve relations that don’t fit the filter criteria. For more information on this functionality, please refer to the 'Strict filtering' section in the LeanIX user documentation.

  • Exported reports have been improved to now reflect the Report name on top.
