Customize the transformation template for an Application roll-out

The LeanIX Architecture and Road Map Planning (formerly Business Transformation Management or BTM) comes with predefined templates to kick-start your transformation planning. The most used template is the one for Application roll-outs. However, such roll-outs can vary from organization to organization. Although our template suits the most common transformation impacts, specific impacts essential to you had to be added manually.

Resolving the repetitive tasks of adding the same custom impact each time when using the 'Rollout Application' template, we've now made this transformation template customizable for admins.

To do so, head to the admin area's 'Optional Features & Early Access' section and select to configure the feature 'Architecture and Road Map Planning: Transformations & Milestones'. On the 'Transformation Types' tab, you will find a 'Configure as new' button available for the 'Rollout Application' template. There the template can be customized by adding or editing impacted Fact Sheet types and their attributes. After editing it, the template is shown on a new 'My Transformation Types' tab.

It's on our roadmap for the turn of the month from March to April 2024 to allow you to create your own new template for any transformation type.
