Change announcement: SAP built-in support widget for workspaces on legacy LeanIX contract terms

On July 29, 2026, you will be able to get support without leaving your workspace. The SAP built-in support widget, already available in workspaces under SAP contract terms since last year, will roll out to workspaces under legacy LeanIX contract terms on that date.

For workspace admins

Clicking the support icon in the main navigation bar opens the widget as a panel directly in your workspace. You have access to a knowledge search and contextual page recommendations that suggest relevant documentation based on where you are in the workspace. Admins with an SAP S-User ID can sign in to unlock full access, including the ability to manage support requests without navigating to SAP for Me.

For non-admin users

The current setup does not change. The experience depends on your workspace configuration. If your workspace has an internal support email address or URL configured in the general settings, users will continue to be redirected there. If no internal support destination is configured, users will be redirected to the SAP for Me portal.

What you need to do

No action is required ahead of this change. If you are an admin and unsure whether this affects your workspace, click the support icon in the main navigation. If the widget opens, nothing will change for you. If you are directed to SAP for Me, this rollout applies to your workspace.
