Applications in the reference catalog were listed in a flat hierarchy without a hierarchical relationship between commercial products (e.g., ServiceNow, ServiceNow ITOM, ServiceNow ITSM)

For platforms of SaaS applications and SAP solutions, we've started distinguishing between individual products and product lines as they often follow their own contract lifecycle, have dedicated responsible users, and support different business capabilities. Starting with SAP, applications in the reference catalog will incrementally, per vendor, be classified into product lines, products, and technical stock keeping units (SKUs). Any existing catalog matching remains untouched (e.g., if SAP landscape discovery surfaces an L2 product, we continue to match it with the L2 product).

As a result, the first applications in the catalog are structured in a parent-child relationship. Hence, the names of the child applications are shown according to the configured display name (e.g., SAP Concur Travel & Expense / SAP Concur Travel). This is meant to ease application identification in the catalog. Therefore, the parent fact sheet or the relationship is not created automatically.
