Work with complete technology version coverage without raising manual requests

You can now rely on complete technology version coverage across the categories most relevant to obsolescence risk, without submitting requests for missing versions.

Gaps in catalog version data have been a consistent friction point: when an assessment required a version not yet in the catalog, adding it meant a manual request that introduced delays into the risk management workflow.

For workspaces with SAP Technology Risk and Compliance, the catalog now covers AI models, cloud databases, on-premise databases, cloud runtimes, operating systems, programming languages, and development frameworks with all lifecycle-relevant versions from the past 10 years, kept current as new versions are released. Technology risk teams have a stable, complete foundation for obsolescence assessments without coordinating catalog updates as a prerequisite.

Complete version coverage also lays the groundwork for version concurrency management, which we plan to implement in Q4. You will be able to define version tolerance windows for the technologies you use (for example, accepting up to 3 major releases behind the current version) and use them to automatically drive successor planning across your landscape.
