We have expanded the AI Agent Hub with new capabilities directly in your existing workspace. At the same time, its scope and naming have been elevated: it is now called SAP AI Agent Hub and is available to a broader set of SAP customers through Joule Studio, SAP's platform for developing and operating agentic applications. As an SAP LeanIX customer, you continue to access it exactly as you are used to and receive all of the new capabilities below as part of your known setup.

New discovery sources: ServiceNow and SAP AI Core

Two new discovery sources extend your ability to automatically populate your workspace with AI assets from across your enterprise. AI agents defined in ServiceNow are now discoverable via a dedicated ServiceNow integration, with attributes such as name, description, role definition, active status, documentation URL, app scope, and owner synchronized into your workspace. Additionally, active AI model deployments from SAP AI Core are now discoverable via the SAP Usage Data Management Service, scoped to your BTP global account and enriched against the reference catalog.

      Verification settings for AI assets

Once discovered, AI agents, MCP servers, and AI models enter your workspace in an unverified state. When you assess them, you can now mark them as verified, rejected, or unverified directly in your workspace in the form of an optional verification badge which will appear on each fact sheet. Going forward, the badge can be picked up by Joule Studio runtime to inform which agents are allowed to run in production environments. Also, based on an integration with SAP Integration Suite, the badge will indicate which MCP servers are being verified for use by your developers. This enables a proactive governance mechanism as each AI asset is enriched with context, making it easy to communicate trust status across your environment.

Architecture decisions now available in workspaces with SAP LeanIX Application Portfolio Management

To give every customer the tools needed to govern AI agents, we have made architecture decisions available to all workspaces with SAP LeanIX Application Portfolio Management. Previously exclusive to workspaces with SAP LeanIX Architecture and Road Map Planning, they can now be attached to AI agent fact sheets as part of the verification and assessment workflow, allowing you to document the rationale behind agent adoption, platform choices, and compliance boundaries directly alongside your portfolio.

      Outlook

We are planning to further enhance the SAP AI Agent Hub for it to become the central command center of AI assets surfacing relevant information from diverse sources and ensuring a seamless user journey to access relevant data:

      • Observability will give you visibility into the runtime behavior, performance, and usage of your AI agents and models in production, with drill-down into individual sessions via SAP Cloud ALM.

      • Identity and access control, built on SAP Cloud Identity Services, will let you centrally manage access, identities, and policies for AI agents across your organization.

      • Agent mining, via an integration with SAP Signavio, will help you understand how agents execute tasks across defined process steps, measuring conformance and coverage.

      • Org chart and skills mapping via SAP SuccessFactors will allow you to map AI agent deployment to business units and organizational structures, helping you understand workforce impact as agent adoption scales.

With this, we continue to bring more visibility to your AI ecosystem to give you the confidence to scale your AI strategies.
