      Inventory

      • We fixed a bug in which the "Clone other external IDs" option was enabled by default when cloning fact sheets, potentially causing unintended integration breakage. This option is now disabled by default, preventing duplicate external IDs across fact sheets.

      • You can now download the Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for the microservices you discovered from the fact sheet. This supports software supply chain transparency requirements and makes it easier to comply with regulations that mandate SBOM disclosure.

      Reports

      • The location field can now be used in views and for clustering in landscape reports, giving you the flexibility to visualize regional aspects of your architecture beyond the predefined world map reports.

      • Custom Reports are now available on the report creation screen for users with the respective permission. Upon selection, users are guided to the SAP Help portal page, which provides detailed information and a step-by-step guide for AI-assisted report creation.

      Enterprise Architecture Assistant

As a follow-up to the initial release of semantic search in the LeanIX MCP server, this capability is now incorporated into the EA Assistant, improving how natural language queries are understood and leading to an even more efficient and effective experience with the assistant.

      Discoveries

Earlier this year, Microsoft changed how AI agents in Entra ID can be distinguished from applications for our discovery. This change caused new agents to be missed in our inbox when they were categorized solely under the new agent identity service principle.
Now, the Microsoft Entra ID AI agent discovery integration has been extended to cover the agent identity, so all agents are listed in your inbox again. This dedicated identity object, distinct from the general service principal type, specifically represents AI agents registered through Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and other agent-aware platforms.
With this change, agent metadata for the sponsor and blueprints have been added and are now displayed in each agent's details in the inbox.
Your discovery configurations require no change for agents. Your discovery configurations require no change to automatically list such agents in the next discovery run. However, since we can now query this principle directly, admins can reduce the Microsoft Graph permission from the broader Application.Read.All scope, to the more focused AgentIdentity.Read.All.

[Edit note: In a previous version of this announcement, a release of access to the reference catalog through our MCP server was mentioned, which has yet to happen.]
