Access relations and fields on relations in calculations

Today's enhancement has moved calculations from supporting only field values to also reading relations and fields on relations between fact sheets. This is a significant step toward covering most of the use cases you and your peers have shared. The next one will be accessing fields on related fact sheets, which are planned for release at the end of Q2 2025.

To spark your ideas for helpful calculations, here are a few examples that are now possible:

• Sum up the total number of application users from multiple relations to organization fact sheets.

• Aggregate the cost of an application from the 'Total Annual Cost' field on the relations to all underpinning IT components.

• Assess a complexity score of applications based on the number of related consumed interfaces.

We've updated the calculation examples with additional code to help you quickly set up calculations for your use cases.
